A Tourist Sightseer’s Guide to Spain
There’s a lot more to discover about Spain and why it’s considered to be one of the best places to go for a relaxing getaway; the culture of Spain is just so distinctive and rich that it has set itself apart in Europe and other parts of the world. It has so many things to offer, basically in the fields of architecture, visual arts, music, dance, and sports. Spanish visual arts, dance, songs, and even architectural fashion can be considered quite competitive in the outside world.
One of the architectural structures that is very popular to everybody in Spain and in most parts of the world is the Guggenheim Museum which does not simply give shelter to impressive works of art but is in itself alreadyregarded a valuable piece of art. Frank Gehry designed futuristic buildings which are considered not just architecturally well-designed but also considered as a real work of modern art. Juan de Villanueva designed the world-famous Prado Museum, one of the biggest and bestin all of Europe.
Parc Guell in Barcelona is another famous architectural jewel which was made by Antonio Gaudi who became famous for his extremely outstanding creations. The Prado Museum was commissioned by Carlos III as part of a larger compound of buildings that were made purposely to create an impression; this was during the time when Carlos III was attempting to urbanize Madrid and make it a world-class city. Through the years, the Prado Museum had been extended and made widerso that it could accommodate more masterpiece creations that will further cement its status as one of the most prestigious museums in Europe and even in the world.
Not including Spain’s rich architectural culture, there’s also other things to get pleasure from for the people who want to do more outdoor activities. The Prado Museum was partly built by Juan de Villanueva who was one of the favorite architects of Carlos III. In coastal villages like the Castell d’Aro, you can go sunbathing, jet skiing, and other similar activities; this coastal community is very near the Mediterranean Sea and is considered one of the well-celebrated beachfront communes in Spain.
To get around Spain, all you need to have is the rudimentary or basics of their language which shouldn’t be too hard to learn given the fact that a big part of the English language has inspired the Spanish language and vice versa.
