someone is spoofing my email address. The email header “is all greek to me” how can i tell the original source
Some one is spoofing my email address and my inbox is filling with rejected spam. How can I discover the originating address. I want this to stop! I am a way newby at this kind of thing.
I have virus and firewall protection and the scans on my PC come up clean so I don’t thin I’m infected.
Your address can be used as decoy without any problem. This abuse and spam is hard to stop when they know Your mail address. Best way is they do not know You@mail. Only trained spam filters on PC &/or with provider can help to manage spam when/after the spamers and address merchants know Your@.

Sam Spade is a program to investigate after spamers.

You can gather info with Sam Spade. But it will not reduce the pest.
Thunderbird mail has some extensions that help to verify origin
cover unneeded info make headers more human readable.
Thunderbird mail also has good filters as soon as they are trained they will take care of the spam.

Outlook express and IE can be easily missused by viruses made to create spam. Special spam bots are also common
they try to place them on Your PC. That is why You use
